My name is Mohammad.

I bridge the gap between art, design, and technology — designing and building accessible, responsive websites with a focus on both visual clarity and technical execution.

As a developer, I work across multiple languages and frameworks, including React and tools such as React Redux, GraphQL, Gatsby, NextJS, and Sanity. I regularly build CMS-driven and headless architectures, and have extensive experience with Wordpress, creating custom themes, custom post types, and custom widgets.

I’ve worked with teams and clients across agencies, media, and cultural institutions — combining my background in art and design with thoughtful, scalable development.

Cooper Cole is one of the prominent commercial art galleries in Canada.For Cooper Cole, I worked with designer Saam Keshmiri, and together we developed a new branding strategy for the organization, including new logo, all new design assets and guidelines.I developed the organization's new website by building a custom themed Wordpress back end.

Dusk Dances is one of Canada's longest running outdoor dance series, with its flagship week-long festival taking place at Withrow Park, Toronto, drawing thousands of audience members annually.
Here, I worked with the organization and build a Site that was scalable and adjustable as needed using Sanity as the backend and NextJs as the front end. Additionally, I designed the 2024 and 2025 promotional material

Images Festival is a non-profit, artist-led festival dedicated to experimental film, media arts, contemporary art, and the spaces in which these forms coexist.
For Images festival, I designed the 2024 catalogue, made the material designs for festival merch / other festival necessities such as lanyards and signage.I also made the festival trailer which plays before the films during the festival. 
This work was in collaboration with fellow designer Saam Keshmiri

Peripheral Review is an independent critical art review publication based in Canada, offered both in print and online. For Peripheral Review, I worked with designer Saam Keshmiri and together we came up with a new layout structure and design for the website. The publication wanted an addition of a shop, as well as the ability to donate and purchase memberships, while highlighting their archives. Additional sections of the site behind a paywall will be released in early 2023.

this is a website build in collaboration with the dance collective, exploring trauma and lineal heritage through movement. When building this site, i kept movement in mind, trying to stay true to the project's energy.

In Search Of is a full service casting and management agency based in New York, Los Angeles + Toronto. Site is build using Sanity for the back-end of the site and NextJs for the front end of the site.

Chadha Ranch is a design studio based out of New York City. With a focus on architecture, it seeks opportunities of impact within design and visual space. Site is build using Sanity for the back-end of the site and NextJs for the front end of the site.

Polyester + is a store with a wide range of products, focusing on larger clothing sizes as their main inventory
Here, I worked with the store in developing a website built with Wordpress/ WooCommerce, which would synch their inventory from Square, using the Square API.

X in Residence is an artist residency centre located in Toronto, Canada. Working with designer Saam Keshmiri, we developed the branding identity for the organization, as well as the design of the website. The organization wanted a tool to incorporate their application submissions via a form on to their site. I incorporated this functionality while developing systems in place to track and review the submitted applications through the back end of the website.

X in Residence

This project is an archive made in collaboration with a dancer, covering their past recorded archives. Project is build using Sanity as the backend and NextJS as the front end. Site design is in collaboration with designer Saam Keshmiri

Performance Detritus

Peripherie Peripherie is an offshoot online publication of The Peripheral Review. Paywalled content can be viewed by purchasing an access code from Peripheral Review's web shop. The site is build using Wordpress API as the backend and GatsbyJs to pull information to the front-end.

Missed Connections is an online exhibition space produced by South Asian Visual Arts Centre (SAVAC) in Toronto.Working with a designer, the curators and the artists, I developed a custom themed Wordpress site to showcase the diverse range of works presented. Through the development of a back end, I made sure the organization had the option to exhibit future renditions of the project here easily.

With this book I’ve documented the process of making gelak, a sort of fish sauce that is made from the soil of Hormuz, alongside pictures of the island and surrounding areas in the straigh of Hormuz
